Abstract

Este libro presenta las principales características del sistema de pensiones vigente en Chile en el año 2010, incorporando todas las modificaciones introducidas en la última Reforma Previsional y dando así, por consiguiente, continuidad a las seis ediciones anteriores de “El Sistema Chileno de Pensiones”. Tanto en esta entrega como en las anteriores, el libro ofrece una descripción actualizada del sistema, una evaluación de su desempeño y los desafíos que se están enfrentando en cada etapa en particular. Cada una de las ediciones incluyó los perfeccionamientos que se fueron introduciendo al sistema a lo largo de los años. Entre ellos se cuentan la creación del sistema de multifondos y el sistema electrónico de ofertas de montos de pensión (SCOMP).
