Abstract

Впервые на русском языке достаточно полно и систематически представлены функциональные возможности новой технологической платформы XML, которые в последнее время нашли широкое применение в проектах электронного правительства и других областях. Предпринята попытка упорядочить русскоязычную терминологию в данной области. Обсуждаются основные понятия и опыт реализации проектов электронного правительства, роль стандартов XML в разработке электронного правительства, содержится общее описание комплекса стандартов платформы XML, метаописания основных стандартов, глоссарий используемых терминов, новые переводы на русский язык действующих версий спецификаций базовых стандартов платформы - языка Extensible Markup Language (XML), XML Infoset и Namespaces in XML. Издание предназначено для руководителей, экспертов и разработчиков информационных систем электронного правительства, а также для специалистов, использующих стандарты новой технологической платформы Веб.
