Abstract

This directory contains data derived from thorough inventory of existing agricultural information centers in Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. The inventory covered agricultural universities, research organizations, ministries of agriculture, experiment stations and specialized centers of information. The inventory is composed of the following: 1) individual areas of specialization in the field of agriculture, 2) available information resources, 3) information services offered, 4) clientele served, and 5) existing linkages with other institutions. This directory is designed to be a customized knowledge tool that will provide researchers, academians, extension workers, information specialists, and others with a guide to direct them in their information searches.
