Abstract

This publication contains the results of a pilot trial conducted in Mabagon, Hindang, Leyte, Philippines. The study was an attempt to examine and understand the different processes and variables involved in a package of postharvest technology interventions, the needs and perceptions of targeted beneficiaries, their problems and constraints, and the ensuing opportunities and challenges they posed both to the R&D and extension staff of the Visayas State College of Agriculture (ViSCA) and the targeted beneficiaries of such package of technologies.
