Abstract

The Outstanding SEARCA Scholarship Alumni Award (OSSA) are presented and honored in this coffee table book commemorating SEARCA's 50th Anniversary. It is a fitting tribute to their contributions to education, research, and governance which have left indelible marks and development outcomes that transcend national and even regional boundaries. A special recognition known as the Emerging Leaders in Transition Economies (ELITE) Award is similarly bestowed on two alumni for their noteworthy work in efforts to rebuild their countries.
