Abstract

Este segundo tomo de la historia del Banco Central de Reserva del Perú (BCRP) y de la política monetaria de Perú cubre la etapa de modernización del ente emisor y de su política monetaria para convertirse en la institución madura que es hoy. Se puede decir en el presente que el BCRP es efectivamente una de las instituciones públicas peruanas de más alta reputación por haber logrado la estabilidad de precios y ser participe del esquema general de política macroeconómica que sostiene a la economía peruana.
