Abstract

¿Cómo son afectadas las economías semimonetarias de los campesinos por un fenómeno totalmente monetario como es la inflación? Esta es la pregunta a la que trata de responder este libro, tanto a través de una aproximación teórica como empírica. Los procesos de cambio que desencadenan la inflación en las comunidades y las microrregiones de la sierra peruana, son sorprendentes sobre todo por la variedad de respuestas de las familias campesinas, que conviene tomar en cuenta cuando se plantean políticas de precios, salarios, crédito y cambio técnico además de las políticas antiflaccionistas.
