Abstract

Esta investigación diseña y aplica una novedosa metodología que permite detectar la existencia de un “efecto plataforma” de la CAN, consistente en que el mercado ampliado de la subregión andina cumple el rol de incubar nuevas capacidades exportadoras que permiten el desarrollo de exportaciones manufactureras no tradicionales, que se destinan no solo al mercado de la CAN sino también a otros mercados, incluyendo a los del mundo desarrollado como son los de los Estados Unidos y la Unión Europea.
