La experiencia peruana en planificación y gestión urbano-ambiental

Abstract

UN-Habitat y PNUMA apoyan la mejora de la planificación y gestión urbano-ambiental local con la finalidad de promover ciudades y pueblos sostenibles, en el entendido de que son fundamentales para el desarrollo económico y social. El presente documento destaca la importancia de la ciudadanía en los procesos de gestión local, a la vez que recopila y sistematiza diversas iniciativas y experiencias locales ocurridas durante los últimos quince años en varias regiones del Perú, las cuales constituyen una muestra de los avances que se vienen realizando y una motivación para continuar con la mejora de la planificación y gestión urbano-ambiental en el país.
