Valorización económica de servicios ambientales: el caso de Pachacamac, Lurín

Abstract

Este trabajo de investigación se desarrolla sobre la base de un estudio de caso. Las preguntas inicialmente planteadas se analizan en el marco de funcionamiento del valle de Lurín, específicamente del área verde de Pachacamac. Este valle, al igual que otros valles urbanos, provee a la ciudad de Lima de una serie de invalorables recursos y servicios. El presente trabajo intenta obtener un aproximado del valor económico del área verde del valle del río Lurín, zona de Pachacamac. En este proceso, se identifica a los principales usuarios de los servicios ambientales que provee el valle y los respectivos beneficios que les reporta, así como también a las actividades que se realizan en el valle; se estima la valoración del área verde de Pachacamac y se plantea un conjunto de recomendaciones de política para promover el aprovechamiento sostenible de dichos servicios.
