Abstract

The research analyses the statistical data on the average amount of paid wages. It has been proved that on average the amount of paid wages in the public forestry sector has increased with the introduction of the new wage system under the Public Sector Salary System Act in the area of forestry. The public forestry institute wages are compared with private and public sector wages. The results have proved that the amount of paid wages in the public forestry sector has been determined by the amount of the paid bonuses and work efficiency perform-ance. The amount of paid wages is also significantly determined by the education level of employed.
