Abstract

A pesquisa "Melhores práticas em escolas de ensino médio no Brasil" originou-se em 2008, quando o Ministério da EducaçaÞo (MEC) iniciou entendimentos com o BID tendo em vista a necessidade de aprimoramento das políticas públicas nesse nível de ensino e a importância que o tema assumia para o Ministério. Em dezembro do mesmo ano, o BID aprovou uma doaçaÞo do Fundo Social e assinou convênio de CooperaçaÞo Técnica com o MEC. Em 2009, entrou-se em acordo com as Secretarias Estaduais de EducaçaÞo, realizou-se a pesquisa de campo em 35 escolas de quatro Secretarias (AC, CE, SP e PR) e analisaram-se os resultados preliminares com os Estados e com o MEC. Este relatório descreve e analisa os dados coletados na pesquisa.
