Abstract

Este libro proporciona un programa de gestión de gasto público para ayudar a Perú a cumplir sus metas de desarrollo a mediano plazo. Presenta diagnósticos y recomendaciones de políticas en las áreas que más contribuyen a mejorar sus perspectivas de desarrollo. Los capítulos temáticos examinan las funciones centrales de la gestión del gasto público: los agregados fiscales macro, las asignaciones de recursos a los sectores estratégicos y la eficiencia microeconómica del gasto público; temas seleccionados como la descentralización de la administración pública y los sectores sociales; la reforma de la administración pública; la gobernabilidad y la corrupción y algunos temas fiscales y ambientales relacionados con la minería.
