Abstract

En el presente estudio se examina el papel que el tercer sector (el de residentes, usuarios y ONGs) tiene en asociación con los sectores público y privado. Se presentan algunas de las lecciones aprendidas a partir de cinco estudios de caso de revitalización urbana en América Latina. Se describe la composición y estructura de los arreglos institucionales en alianzas tripartitas, sus retos y beneficios. Se relatan algunas historias y experiencias y se identifican algunos factores clave para el éxito de este tipo de alianzas.
