Modelos Clásico y Keynesiano. Un enfoque teórico con especial tención a su relevancia para la economía colombiana

  • Javier Fernández Riva
Registered author(s):

    El libro desarrolla uno de los esquemas de análisis macroeconómico más conocidos, el is-lm, con el cual fuimos educados muchos para entender las conexiones entre la política y los resultados macroeconómicos. Los primeros capítulos, sobre los modelos clásico (o, quizás mejor, neoclásico) y keynesiano en economías cerradas, abordan terrenos comunes a muchos libros de texto. Ellos nos conducen al capítulo 4 y, especialmente, al 5, en donde se encuentran las contribuciones conceptuales más importantes de la obra. El libro termina con una aplicación concreta de estos modelos a algunos episodios recientes de la historia económica colombiana y latinoamericana que, además de su relevancia, nos recuerdan que el análisis teórico es útil si, y sólo si, sirve como herramienta para analizar la realidad concreta.
