Jorge Isaacs. Obras completas. La revolución radical en Antioquia

  • María Teresa Cristina
Registered author(s):

    La revolución radical en Antioquia fue publicada en Bogotá por la Imprenta de Gaitán en 1880. A pesar de la edición facsimilar realizada por Editorial Incunables en 1882, sigue siendo una obra desconocida. El libro fue escrito y editado de manera apresurada en el breve lapso de tres meses y, al parecer, con penuria de recursos. Respecto a la edición original los cambios introducidos en la presente edición se reducen a la ortografía y a la disposición tipográfica del texto. Confiamos en que la presente edición sea un instrumento de provecho para los lectores interesadas en comprender mejor el intrincado problema de las guerras civiles del siglo xix colombiano y en dilucidar un aspecto poco tratado por los biógrafos de Isaacs, acerca del cual quedan múltiples interrogantes después de la lectura de este escrito.
