Abstract

Los cambios sociales afectan la manera como vivimos y trabajamos. Por esto obligan a repensar las ocupaciones y profesiones. El ejemplo del arriero es mi preferido. En el siglo XIX fueron muy importantes en materia de comunicaciones. Era una ocupación que requería el conocimiento de los caminos y cómo podían ser afectados por las lluvias, de veterinaria para cuidar las mulas, habilidad para disponer las cargas y una inversión considerable. Los trenes, aviones y el transporte automotor hicieron desaparecer la ocupación. Uno puede sonreír porque estamos hablando de abogados, que parecen inmunes a esos cambios. ¿No los había en Roma, en la Edad Media y en el Siglo de Oro español?
