    Memorias de la Cumbre de las Américas realizada en Miami en 1994. En esta cumbre se adoptó el “Pacto para el desarrollo y prosperidad de las Américas” suscrito por los jefes de Estado de los países americanos, en donde se comprometieron a cumplir algunos objetivos fundamentales: fortalecer las democracias; promover la prosperidad por medio de la integración y el libre comercio; erradicar la pobreza; erradicar la discriminación; garantizar el acceso a la educación; y preservar el desarrollo sostenible, la conservación del medio ambiente y la biodiversidad.
