    Este libro pretende un análisis integral del marco jurídico que regula el proceso de desmovilización de los grupos paramilitares, especialmente en lo que hace referencia a la aplicación de la Ley de justicia y Paz, labor que desarrolla el profesor Jorge Iván Cuervo Restrepo. También se incluyen en este libro los trabajos de los investigadores Verónica Hinestroza Arenas y Eduardo Bechara Gómez sobre experiencias internacionales de procesos de justicia transicional en situaciones de conflicto armado, que pueden servir de referente para el caso colombiano. Todos estos temas constituyen un complemento ideal del análisis integral de la Ley de justicia y Paz, y busca ser un insumo para analistas, negociadores, víctimas y demás actores comprometidos en el éxito de la pacificación del país.
