    Desde lo más hondo de su indigencia, el concepto de “nueva economía” libra al menos una lección digna de ser oída. La de que si hay “novedad”, es porque existe el “cambio”. Y si existe cambio, es porque, al contrario de los que estiman los economistas ortodoxos, esos físicos improbables de lo social, el capitalismo no está regido por leyes universales e invariables, sino arrastrado por la historia que lo hace sujeto de metamorfosis. Si la crisis del fordismo, abierta al comienzo de 1970, fue seguida por un periodo largo, informe e indeciso, el final de 1990 parece haber dado nacimiento a una nueva era del capitalismo, a un nuevo régimen de acumulación del capital, cuya “coherencia” es cada vez más discernible.
