Complejidad: ciencia, pensamiento y aplicaciones

  • Carlos Eduardo Maldonado (ed.)
Registered author(s):

    El estudio de los sistemas complejos ha alcanzado un nivel de entusiasmo, de desarrollo y también de rigor, creciente y admirable, con todo y que aún no es ciencia normal –estadística y sociológicamente hablando– y que se encuentra incluso muy lejos todavía de serlo. La comunidad de académicos y de científicos interesados en este campo apasionante de los fenómenos adaptativos, no-lineales, caóticos, emergentes, irreversibles y autoorganizativos, ha venido, eso sí, aproximándose incipientemente, abriéndose al diálogo, exponiéndose incluso. Son menores los casos de aquellos que vienen efectivamente trabajando, pero con la misma actitud mencionada, de manera efectiva, en el estudio de la complejidad. Como sabemos, el trabajo académico y el científico tienen como base mínima absoluta la producción de textos escritos, con la dinámica que ello contiene: diálogo, crítica, aceptación y refutación, lectura recíproca, interlocución, en fin, incluso publicación individual tanto como colectiva.
