Abstract

Tomando en consideración el abandono a que han estado sometidos los aspectos geométricos y espaciales en la educación básica y media por favorecer la enseñanza de la llamada matemática moderna y la necesidad de un desarrollo cada vez mayor de la capacidad de visualización y sentido espacial que nos permita resolver un sinnúmero de situaciones problemas de la vida diaria, optamos por considerar que el eje central de libro: Percepción espacial y geometría intuitiva es el desarrollo del sentido espacial, la visualización espacial, a partir de la percepción espacial y el abordar los conceptos geométricos y espaciales a través de ideas intuitivas.
