Abstract

En este trabajo se realiza una descripción de la normatividad existente en el campo de las investigaciones llevadas a cabo con embriones humanos. Posteriormente, con el estudio tanto del derecho internacional como del derecho comparado se formularán algunas conclusiones con el fin de orientar el tema del estatuto jurídico del embrión humano en Colombia. El desarrollo de una postura coherente, basada en principios, y autorreflexiva, es indispensable en nuestro país, en donde los proyectos de ley que han sido formulados pero que no se han aprobado sobre esta materia sostienen posturas dispares y aun contradictorias entre sí.
