La Expropiación forzosa en América Latina

Abstract

Pese a las particularidades que puede presentar su regulación en los distintos ordenamientos, no cabe duda de que la institución de la expropiación forzosa constituye un patrimonio común del derecho público occidental. Por esto, aunque sometida al vaivén de su evolución, nutrida por los problemas específicos que encara cada sistema jurídico, presenta rasgos comunes, responde a preocupaciones similares y registra líneas de desarrollo con nítidos paralelismos. Ello queda de manifiesto en la presente obra, que compendia el trabajo de catorce investigadores de siete países de América y Europa, que ofrecen una mirada amplia, rica y exhaustiva de esta institución, característica del derecho administrativo clásico, e imprescindible dentro del derecho administrativo contemporáneo.
