Abstract

El libro una visión integral de la seguridad social, en su primera edición de 1988, anticipó la concepción que adoptaría el constituyente y el legislador colombianos pocos años después para el nuevo Sistema de Seguridad Social integral en 1993. La tercera edición de este título que se presenta, más que una reedición de la obra en su primera y segunda ediciones, constituye un nuevo texto en el que el autor actualiza el contenido y presenta de manera detallada los antecedentes y alcances de las reformas contenidas en la Ley 100 de 1993, sus posteriores modificaciones y otras disposiciones en materia de seguridad social y protección social.
