Abstract

Esta obra reúne ensayos de los discípulos latinoamericanos del profesor Sandro Schipani, que, luego de su formación en alguno de los cursos de posgrado por él dirigidos en la Università degli Studi di Roma ‘Tor Vergata’, han continuado con la carrera académica, los que de este modo han querido homenajear al maestro común que durante más de tres décadas se consagrara a enaltecer la originalidad y especificidad del subsistema jurídico latinoamericano como desarrollo interno propio del sistema jurídico romanista. Los distintos trabajos en ella contenidos abordan diferentes aspectos de los temas a los que el profesor Schipani ha dedicado desde siempre una particular atención, a saber: el sistema jurídico romanista, el subsistema jurídico latinoamericano –con particular atención a los principios que lo orientan, especialmente la protección de la persona, y a las problemáticas conexas a la unificación/armonización del derecho y a las codificaciones en Latinoamérica–, las obligaciones, los contratos, la responsabilidad civil, los derechos reales y las sucesiones.
