Derecho procesal ambiental

Abstract

Cada año el Grupo de Investigación en Derecho del Medio Ambiente identifica un tema de especial importancia para que sea analizado y socializado en el marco de las Jornadas Internacionales en Derecho del Medio Ambiente, que este año llegan a su XVI versión. Así las cosas, para este número se decidió que el asunto que nos convocara fuera el derecho procesal ambiental. La importancia del tema es más que evidente, por cuanto el proceso judicial o administrativo comporta una sucesión de etapas jurídicas enlazadas que deben ser recorridas paso a paso por los coasociados que se constituyen en partes y por el juez o la Administración, en observancia de los deberes y obligaciones que la ley procesal le impone, siempre con el cometido de servir al derecho material o sustancial.
