    Lecciones de derecho internacional, tomo I, propone un análisis crítico del proceso que suscitó el tránsito del derecho internacional clásico al derecho internacional contemporáneo con estudios específicos sobre los orígenes del sistema colectivo de seguridad internacional y del sistema de regulación de la economía internacional. En ediciones posteriores, cuyas investigaciones ya se están concluyendo, se publicarán otros estudios de derecho internacional –referidos, entre otros temas, a las operaciones de mantenimiento de la paz, a la protección de los derechos humanos, a los sujetos del derecho internacional, a las formas de creación de las obligaciones internacionales, al derecho humanitario, etc.– que buscan contribuir con el debate y divulgar saberes que, pese al creciente proceso de internacionalización, todavía son extraños en el ámbito jurídico colombiano.
