Abstract

El control previo de concentraciones empresariales –conocidas en el entorno colombiano como “integraciones”– constituye uno de los más importantes y, a su vez, complejos mecanismos de defensa de la competencia. Esta complejidad adquiere mayor entidad cuando se trata del control de operaciones ejecutadas en industrias de redes, en particular, entre empresas del sector energético. En la presente obra el autor detalla, a partir de la aplicación de la normatividad comunitaria y española, las principales concentraciones que han configurado el mapa actual del sector energético europeo e identifica las principales características del control de estas operaciones teniendo en cuenta la problemática, retos y finalidades de la política energética europea.
