Abstract

La obra presenta una visión de conjunto del Estatuto de la Corte Penal Internacional aprobado en Roma el 17 de julio de 1998. Los compiladores intentan dar una visión comprensiva de todas las normas y de la estructura del mismo con una abundante bibliografía valiosa para quien quiera profundizar en el tema y buscan aclarar, desde el punto de vista histórico, algunos elementos descriptivos que se relacionan con el derecho internacional humanitario que recoge el Estatuto y que son susceptibles de incorporar en la legislación colombiana.
