Abstract

El Desplazamiento forzado interno en Colombia: un desafío a los Derechos Humanos presenta los resultados del primer año de actividades de la Cátedra unesco y de la Red Unitwin. Estas Redes asocian instituciones académicas a nivel internacional y permiten identificar las necesidades en formación y en investigación de los futuros responsables de la toma de decisiones. Según la unesco, las Cátedras y Redes de la unesco ayudan a superar obstáculos y fomentan una mayor participación de las instituciones académicas en la sociedad. Las instituciones que albergan las Cátedras y Redes Unitwin de la unesco contribuyen a la organización democrática de la sociedad y a la promoción del reconocimiento y del respeto de la diversidad. Los científicos sociales asumen al mismo tiempo el papel de observadores/analistas y participantes/ciudadanos, y la institución académica debe proveer las bases necesarias para que el científico social cumpla con su papel.
