Incorporación de los principios de la gestión integrada de recursos hídricos en los marcos legales en América Latina: experiencias aprendidas

Abstract

Para el Centro de Estudios en Derecho del Medio Ambiente de la Universidad Externado de Colombia, resulta especialmente satisfactorio presentar a la comunidad académica nacional e internacional, el primer volumen de la Colección Gestión Integrada de Recursos Hídricos, dedicado especialmente al marco jurídico y regulatorio de dicha temática. La Universidad abordó el tema de la Gestión Integrada de Recursos Hídricos –GIRH–, a partir de las invitaciones recibidas para participar en los cursos de capacitación para capacitadores realizados en Toluca y Brasilia, en marzo y septiembre de 2004 respectivamente, eventos que fueron organizados por cap-net, redica y lawet-net, quienes apoyaron decididamente a la Universidad en la capacitación de sus investigadores.
