Abstract

En los años 2011 y 2013 en Colombia se desarrollaron movilizaciones protagonizadas por dos importantes actores sociales: estudiantes y campesinos. Este libro es el fruto de un trabajo que buscó establecer cuáles fueron las motivaciones que tuvieron esos actores sociales para movilizarse; cómo se organizaron desde lo local y desde lo nacional; qué repertorios de acción utilizaron y con qué fin, y cuáles fueron los patrones de presentación de la información sobre las marchas en los principales medios del país; utilizando para tal fin la teoría del framing. La investigación se realizó en el Grupo de Investigación en Comunicación Política de la Facultad de Comunicación Social-Periodismo de la Universidad Externado de Colombia y el proyecto PICT "Los movimientos sociales como agentes de producción de significación, procesos de enmarcado y lucha simbólica en los campos de la educación y la comunicación" de la Universidad Nacional de Quilmes (Argentina).
