Abstract

Este libro, que contiene los resultados y el análisis comparativo de las investigaciones sobre "Comunicación y Participación Política Colombia 2006 y 2008" realizadas por el Centro para la Investigación en Comunicación Política (ClCP) y la Universidad de Wisconsin-Madison, constituye un aporte importante para las ciencias sociales en Colombia, al combinar el análisis longitudinal de fenómenos comunicativos con una serie de análisis transversales sobre los medios de comunicación y la percepción de sus efectos, la conversación política, las nuevas tecnologías de la información, el poder, la polarización de la opinión pública, la participación política, así como diversas formas de ejercer la ciudadanía.Tanto los resultados de la investigación como las reflexiones que se realizan a partir de ellos ponen de relieve el papel fundamental que la comunicación viene cumpliendo como factor dinamizador de la opinión política en Colombia.
