Abstract

é relativamente grande o consenso entre economistas de que o crescimento econômico dos países está associado à inova ção tecnológica. O consenso diminui se o assunto é como fazer inova ção tecnológica e é ainda menor quando o tema da inova ção tecnológica está inserido no debate sobre o desenvolvimento de países de industrializa ção tardia como o Brasil. No centro deste debate, estão as empresas líderes e a sua capacidade de acumular recursos e competências em intensidade e densidade suficientes para “puxar” ou difundir capacidades e progresso por todo o sistema produtivo.
