Abstract

En este libro se presenta un conjunto de disertaciones magistrales de destacados pensadores y especialistas en diversas áreas, realizadas en el marco del ciclo de conferencias del 75° aniversario de la Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe (CEPAL), iniciativa organizada por la Oficina de la Secretaría Ejecutiva de la Comisión para conmemorar sus tres cuartos de siglo de prolífica existencia, y que se llevaron a cabo con una frecuencia mensual desde fines de julio de 2023 hasta mediados de marzo de 2024. Las presentaciones plasmadas en los capítulos de este libro ofrecen novedosas y refrescantes ideas que, sin duda, contribuyen a complementar la agenda de trabajo de la CEPAL, cuya orientación es y seguirá siendo la de construir un desarrollo que conjugue mayores capacidades productivas y niveles de productividad en la esfera económica, amplia inclusión y movilidad en el ámbito social, y mayores y mejores estándares en cuanto a la sostenibilidad ambiental.
