Abstract

Este informe regional, elaborado por la Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe (CEPAL), se basa en 25 informes preparados por países y territorios de América Latina y el Caribe, a partir de los exámenes nacionales exhaustivos realizados con ocasión de los 30 años de la Plataforma de Acción de Beijing (Beijing+30), que fue aprobada en la Cuarta Conferencia Mundial sobre la Mujer y que presenta numerosas sinergias con la Agenda Regional de Género, emanada de los compromisos asumidos en las distintas reuniones de la Conferencia Regional sobre la Mujer de América Latina y el Caribe. Incorpora, asimismo, las estadísticas oficiales consolidadas en el Observatorio de Igualdad de Género de América Latina y el Caribe.
