Abstract

El Plan de Acción sobre la Sociedad de la Información de América Latina y el Caribe y la Agenda Digital para América Latina y el Caribe (eLAC) cumplen 15 años desde su adopción en Río de Janeiro en 2005. Desde sus inicios, este mecanismo permitió forjar una visión regional del rol que cumplen las tecnologías digitales en materia de desarrollo. En el presente informe, elaborado por la Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe (CEPAL), en su calidad de Secretaría Técnica de la Agenda Digital para América Latina y el Caribe, con la colaboración del Centro Regional de Estudios para el Desarrollo de la Sociedad de la Información (Cetic.br), se examinan los principales indicadores sobre la adopción de tecnologías digitales en relación con los ejes y objetivos de dicha Agenda.
