Abstract

El presente documento es el resultado del esfuerzo conjunto de la Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe (CEPAL) y de la Fundación EU-LAC por avanzar en la comprensión de la importancia de las pymes para el cambio estructural y el desarrollo, y de su rol en las posibilidades de innovar e insertarse en cadenas de valor productivas. Esta publicación ha sido elaborada en el marco de la Segunda Cumbre UE-CELAC (Bruselas,10 y 11 de junio de 2015), con la aspiración de servir como insumo para los debates e intercambios que en ella tendrán lugar y ayudar así a identificar espacios de trabajo comunes entre los gobiernos y entre los sectores productivos de ambas regiones.
