Enfoque metodológico para el análisis del impacto distributivo de la formalización laboral

Abstract

Con el fin de estudiar el vínculo entre la desigualdad de los ingresos laborales y el grado de formalización del mercado de trabajo, se optó por una metodología que permitiera aproximarse al aporte relativo de la formalización sobre la desigualdad. En este capítulo se justifica la selección de la metodología aplicada en los distintos estudios de caso que se presentan en el libro. Para ello, se parte de un breve análisis crítico sobre las diversas metodologías de descomposición disponibles en la literatura para analizar los cambios en la distribución de las remuneraciones del trabajo, haciendo hincapié en la idoneidad relativa de cada enfoque para abordar esa problemática.
