Restricción externa y ajuste: opciones y políticas en América Latina

Abstract

Desarrolla tres visiones del problema del ajuste, la primera es la conceptualización ortodoxa o de ajuste de mercado, la segunda es una crítica a esa conceptualización en función de las rigideces internas de las economías que se ajustan, y la última toma en cuenta consideraciones externas a las economías en proceso de ajuste, y plantea la necesidad de tratar el problema del ajuste desde una perspectiva global, que incluya las políticas económicas de deudores y acreedores.
