Abstract

El presente documento complementa al Índice Latinoamericano de Inteligencia Artificial (ILIA), publicado en 2025, al incluir un análisis a nivel nacional y una descripción de su marco metodológico. Mediante la elaboración de fichas de 19 países de América Latina y el Caribe, se profundiza en los resultados del índice y se determina cuáles son las brechas estructurales y los desafíos de los ecosistemas nacionales de inteligencia artificial (IA). Las fichas ofrecen una lectura sintética y estandarizada del desempeño relativo en las tres dimensiones del ILIA —factores habilitantes; investigación, desarrollo y adopción, y gobernanza— e incorporan un análisis del uso efectivo de las soluciones de IA. Se incluye un anexo metodológico que detalla las fuentes utilizadas, los criterios de construcción de los indicadores y los métodos de normalización, imputación y ponderación aplicados en esta edición. El documento fortalece la transparencia y comparabilidad del ILIA y constituye un insumo clave para el análisis comparado y el seguimiento de las políticas públicas orientadas al desarrollo y la gobernanza de la IA en la región.
