Abstract

La 18ª edición de Perspectivas económicas de América Latina presenta una serie de recomendaciones de políticas para reconfigurar la estructura productiva de la región, haciéndola más sostenible e inclusiva, y examina los mecanismos de financiamiento necesarios para respaldar esta transformación. El informe sostiene que los gobiernos deben diseñar e implementar estrategias de desarrollo que permitan a cada país crear empleos formales, fortalecer capacidades locales y fomentar sectores estratégicos, alineando su estructura productiva con los estándares y demandas globales. Las recomendaciones incluyen mejorar la implementación de políticas de desarrollo productivo, desplegar instrumentos financieros innovadores, renovar el papel de las instituciones financieras de desarrollo y revitalizar las alianzas internacionales para acelerar la movilización de recursos globales hacia sectores estratégicos y apoyar el fortalecimiento de capacidades. Juntas, estas prioridades pueden impulsar la transición de la región hacia sistemas de producción resilientes e intensivos en conocimiento que sustentan un crecimiento inclusivo y sostenible.
