La Agenda 2030 para el Desarrollo Sostenible y la Agenda Regional de Género en América Latina y el Caribe: indicadores de género de Chile a 2024

Abstract

En este documento se analizan diversos indicadores de género para el seguimiento de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible de la Agenda 2030 para el Desarrollo Sostenible en Chile, en articulación con la Agenda Regional de Género de América Latina y el Caribe. Su propósito es servir como insumo sobre el estado actual del progreso hacia la igualdad de género y orientar el fortalecimiento de políticas públicas. Chile ha impulsado diversas iniciativas para avanzar en materia de igualdad de género. Sin embargo, persisten nudos estructurales de desigualdad interrelacionados que perpetúan ciclos de exclusión y afectan de manera desproporcionada a mujeres y niñas, restringiendo su autonomía y acceso a oportunidades. En este escenario, es preciso profundizar y ampliar los esfuerzos para alcanzar una igualdad sustantiva con un enfoque interseccional. Como señala el informe regional La Agenda 2030 para el Desarrollo Sostenible y la Agenda Regional de Género en América Latina y el Caribe: indicadores de género a 2024, es fundamental redoblar los esfuerzos para sostener los avances alcanzados y promover transformaciones que conduzcan a una sociedad del cuidado. Solo mediante un compromiso firme y acciones decididas será posible cerrar las brechas existentes, garantizar los derechos de las mujeres, adolescentes y niñas en toda su diversidad, y construir un futuro más justo, inclusivo y sostenible, basado en la igualdad sustantiva, la paz y el desarrollo.
