Evaluación de escenarios para la formulación de la Estrategia Energética Sustentable SICA 2030

Abstract

En este informe se plantean escenarios energéticos al año 2030 para los países del SICA, tomando 2015 como año base. Los aspectos considerados en este informe incluyen: caracterización de las matrices energéticas, potencial energético, construcción de los escenarios energéticos, herramienta de modelación y metodología, prospectiva energética, proyección de la demanda, subsectores energéticos, proyección de la oferta y proyección de emisiones de dióxido de carbono. La construcción y evaluación de escenarios energéticos al año 2030 fue preparada por profesionales y técnicos de los ministerios y oficinas encargados del sector de la energía de los países del SICA con el apoyo de la Comisión para América Latina y el Caribe (CEPAL) y la Organización Latinoamericana de Energía (OLADE). Los escenarios se construyeron a partir de los plantes nacionales de desarrollo energético, utilizando la metodología conocida como Simulación y Análisis de la Matriz Energética (SAME), desarrollada por la OLADE. Se espera que los resultados presentados sean de utilidad para el establecimiento del compromiso y metas de la Estrategia Energética Sustentable 2030 de los países del SICA.
