Abstract

O terceiro relatório do Observatório da Igualdade de Gênero da América Latina e Caribe (OIG) concentra o olhar na análise dos indicadores de autonomia física e econômica e na tomada de decisões, cujo pano de fundo é a agenda regional gerada pelos consensos ratificados na XI Conferência Regional sobre a Mulher da América Latina e do Caribe, em conformidade com a Plataforma de Ação da Quarta Conferência Mundial s obre a M ulher ( Pequim, 1995). Também a presenta u ma r eflexão s obre o s p rogramas d e transferências condicionadas (PTC) no âmbito dos sistemas de proteção social e sua capacidade de incluir as mulheres como sujeitos de direito. Finalmente, e como resultado do esforço coletivo dos mecanismos para o avanço da mulher, apresentamos um anexo estatístico que contém informação oficial, periódica e oportuna, que permite melhorar a análise das políticas públicas.
