Abstract

Este volumen contiene una selección de textos destacados en que la CEPAL ha reflexionado sobre las múltiples y complejas interrelaciones entre la migración internacional y el desarrollo sostenible, con los derechos humanos como eje transversal. Aparecen expuestos los retos que plantea la agenda migratoria regional en términos de la inclusión de las personas migrantes, los marcos institucionales y normativos para su protección, la promoción de sus derechos, la atención a los factores que agudizan las condiciones de vulnerabilidad y la atención a las necesidades de grupos específicos, entre otras preocupaciones cruciales. Refleja, asimismo, algunas de las contribuciones de la CEPAL a la construcción de la agenda migratoria regional y global, que están indisolublemente ligadas con el imperativo de la igualdad.
