Abstract

A edição 2025 do Relatório de Economia e Desenvolvimento (RED) da CAF aborda o complexo desafio da descentralização governamental na região. Este processo, em constante evolução, tem buscado fortalecer as competências das autoridades subnacionais, vinculando-se profundamente à s ações de desenvolvimento sustentável. Através de uma análise detalhada, o relatório destaca como os governos locais e regionais, com seu conhecimento próximo das realidades locais, desempenham um papel crucial na prestação de serviços públicos e na implementação de políticas de desenvolvimento. A CAF reafirma seu compromisso de apoiar esses governos, fornecendo recursos financeiros e conhecimento relevante para melhorar a governança e avançar em direção a sociedades mais equitativas, resilientes e inclusivas.
