Abstract

Integrada por cinco volúmenes, muestra en detalle lo sucedido frente a la presencia del Fenómeno meteorológico El Niño en la región andina. Igualmente, ofrecen una visión de las principales amenazas que se encadenaron al Fenómeno y la capacidad para conocerlas y controlarlas, así como una tipificación de los impactos socioeconómicos y una cuantificación de los daños directos y macroeconómicos. Recoge las lecciones aprendidas y las políticas orientadas a reducir las vulnerabilidades, que incluye una propuesta de proyectos de prevención, fortalecimiento institucional y reconstrucción de los sectores más afectados en cada país.
