Abstract

Este documento busca contribuir efectivamente al debate sobre la situación fiscal de los países andinos y a las alternativas destinadas a fortalecer el manejo de las finanzas públicas, con particular énfasis en el diseño e implementación de reglas fiscales que disminuyan la discrecionalidad y mejoren la credibilidad y eficiencia de la política en instituciones fiscales. Para ellos, el documento presenta una serie de trabajos de investigación y discusión de políticas e instituciones fiscales en los países andinos.
